Welcome to Cera De Luxe

Hi, I’m Louise – the heart and hands behind Cera De Luxe (or CDL for short). I’m a mum of three wonderfully cheeky kids, wife to my amazing husband Lee, and we live on a little island off the Kent coast. Think pebble beaches, rolling fields, and that peaceful, tucked-away kind of vibe we all crave sometimes.

CDL was born out of my love for all things home and all things lovely. It started years ago when my babies were small – I found joy in upcycling old furniture, giving tired pieces a fresh start and turning our home into a little sanctuary. But with three little ones underfoot, I quickly learned that paint and parenting don’t always mix!

Still, that creative spark stuck with me. I’ve always loved finding beautiful things – especially when they don’t come with a scary price tag. There’s something so satisfying about making your home feel luxurious, even on a budget. I’m a firm believer that feeling pampered and proud of your space shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for the few.

In 2019, I stumbled into the world of home fragrance – and oh my goodness, I was hooked. Candles, wax melts… I loved the way they instantly made our home feel calm, cosy and a little bit “me”. That’s when CDL really took shape. I spent months testing and perfecting my products, with no clue just how quickly you’d all fall in love with them too.

When we launched, I thought I might sell a few bits to friends and family – but the website sold out in just four hours (FOUR!). What started as a tiny side project quickly became something so much bigger. We now have a lovely little workshop (much to Lee’s relief – no more wax spills in the kitchen!), and a small but mighty team made up of family.

CDL is still run with love, by hand, and with the same mission it started with – to bring a little everyday luxury into your home, without breaking the bank.
